NEXT Events & Festivals – Ticket Terms of Service
(Applicable to All Ticket Holders)
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, entering a venue, or attending any NEXT Events & Festivals event, you agree to these Terms of Service and the official NEXT Events & Festivals Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not continue with your purchase.
2. Tickets and Admission
All tickets are issued and managed by NEXT Events (Pty) Ltd for official NEXT Events & Festivals. Each ticket is valid only for the event, date, and venue confirmed at the time of purchase, unless reallocated by the Organizer.
Entry is subject to venue capacity, safety procedures, and compliance with event rules. The Organiser reserves the right to deny or revoke entry without compensation in cases of misconduct, intoxication, or failure to follow instructions.
3. Non-Refundable Policy
All ticket sales are final. Once confirmed, tickets are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled, your ticket will remain valid for the new date or may, at the Organizer's discretion, be transferred to another NEXT event of your choice within the same calendar cycle.
In exceptional cases where an event cannot proceed, the Organizer may, at its discretion, offer a credit toward a future NEXT event.
4. Postponements and Event Changes
The Organizer may reschedule, relocate, or alter the format of any event for operational, safety, legal, or commercial reasons, or due to circumstances beyond its control. Such adjustments do not entitle ticket holders to refunds.
All event programming, layouts, performers, and advertised attractions are subject to change without prior notice.
5. Conduct and Compliance
Attendees must follow the instructions of staff, security personnel, and event signage. The Organizer reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises for intoxication, harassment, unsafe behavior, vandalism, or failure to comply with safety or health protocols.
No unauthorized marketing, flyering, or sales activity is permitted on the venue grounds. No camping or overnight stays are allowed unless specifically authorized in writing.
6. Liability Disclaimer
Attendance is at your own risk. NEXT Events & Festivals, its employees, contractors, and partners are not liable for any loss, theft, injury, illness, or property damage arising during the event, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
The Organizer accepts no responsibility for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income or opportunity.
7. Personal Responsibility
Ticket holders are responsible for their own safety and belongings at all times. The Organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
8. Media and Promotion
By attending, you consent to photography and filming by the Organizer for use in event coverage, marketing, and future promotions without charge.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected during ticket purchases or event participation will be used solely for event communication and operations in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Data will never be sold or shared with unrelated third parties.
10. Force Majeure
The Organizer is not liable for delays, postponements, or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, venue restrictions, or government actions. In such cases, tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled event or may be used for another NEXT event within the same calendar cycle.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussions, then mediation in Cape Town or Johannesburg. If mediation fails, either party may proceed in the High Court of South Africa.
